Many people have already noticed that one of the mini-games in update 0.21 has a critical bug that does not allow you to progress into the next segment of the game. To explain what happened, we’ll start from afar. In 2001, Remedy Entertainment released Max Payne. If you run the 2001 version of the game now, you’ll most likely run into the following problem – it’s not playable. Jumping is too jerky and fast, Bullet Time mode doesn’t work, enemies start attacking before the cutscene ends. How could this happen? It’s simple, the developers from Remedy Entertainment have tied the speed of all animations to the frame rate. So, if the refresh rate of your monitor was higher than 60 hertz, Max Payne was a pain (ha!) in the neck to play.
We are telling you this story because we made the same mistake in our mini-game. So players whose monitors and screens were refreshing at 60 hertz or less did not encounter this problem, unlike all those whose screen refresh rate was above 60 hertz.
