Looks like a great game but there is something wrong with the money system. First try I could only upgrade lobby (not enough money for anything else). Second try and new profile not enough money for anything.
That’s a known bug that has been fixed in the new update that will be released soon. Right now, we’re currently testing the latest update to make sure that bug – and other minor ones found – were eliminated.
There were two instances of that bug happening… either before renovating the lobby or before renovating the kitchen. Some encountered the bug in the kitchen, while some encountered it in the lobby, and some didn’t run into it at all in either room.
l really liked Man of the house started playing it late in development, this game however…. guess too early to say,but this is version 4 and the game hasen’t really started yet..pretty long intro there buddy….so at current speed at least a year before you actually can call it a game also l don’t think the inc. patch really works here since it was clearly written as non-incest game
Well, unlike MotH where the dialog remained the same whether you used the patch or not, this one is a bit different in that the dialog changes depending on if you’re using the patch – which, I think is an added bonus personally.
Sure, the intro may be a bit longer than what some might expect, but that can be skipped by using the control key. Just go into the game’s settings and tick the “Skip unseen” box or not playing the intro from the start. But that would take away a lot of the immersion since there’s things going on during it that one might miss.
well l never played moth without the patch,if the dialog is the same it would seem pretty silly with “landlady/roommates”. to me the dialog and setting in moth was “believable” a patch is more than just changing names. when a story is written as non incest game and then put in a patch it just becomes stupid the dialog between family is like between strangers…really silly…..if it’s not an incest game don’t tagg it as one and don’t add a patch…
It’s Patreon’s rules that incest games are a “no-no” on their platform ( Dating My Daughter fiasco anyone? ). Which is why some developers or their fans create incest patches for the games. As such, the developer has to abide by the ToS when they offer games on that platform. Therefore the games there are not permitted to include any mention of incest in anyway, shape or form. Let alone a patch to include incest related content on Patreon.

Before you play the latest version (0.1.0), make sure that Diane_Simmons and Diane_Simmons_manifest are not in Mystwood Manor (0.1.0)\Mystwood Manor_Data\StreamingAssets\gamedata\guests
Diane was removed as she was only used as a placeholder until new guests were added.
I don’t know what’s with this game? I might find out if it allowed to progress beyond the actual moving in without seizing up. I have tried four times to get started, via the intro, but it has seized up every time. I’m now deleting it as I can’t be arsed with it anymore.
For those of you experiencing lockups during your game when you are renovating the fitness center, sauna and/or the maintenance room, check the game’s settings to make sure that “UI animations” are enabled.
This is a known bug and should be fixed for the next update.
I don’t know what system the developer is using to create this so called game but it is rubbish. After waiting forever for it to download, all I got on screen was a blurred ”settings” screen which I couldn’t read and the screen was filled so I could not even play the stupid game. I will not play this ever again, not that I’ve been able to in the first place. Load of rubbish.
Rather than complain about an issue you are having with the game, would it not be more beneficial (for both you, the dev and other players experiencing the same problem) to come to Discord to say, “Hey, I’m having X, Y Z problem(s), can you help?”. After all, it’s not as if we’re unapproachable or that we might bite. There are several of us on there (myself included) at any given time that could easily help with a solution to get you going again. I mean, after all, we do testing of the game and have helped hundreds if not thousands of other folks who are having problems for one reason or another only to find out it was something on their OS or hardware related that caused the problem in the first place.
Complaining about your issue or concern here does little to no good at all if there is indeed a problem that needs to be addressed since this is not an official source. Be that as it may, if I had to guess, I’d say your issue is a resolution problem that can easily be fixed.
Something to think about in the future…
Since I don’t know the discord info and I probably can’t get it since I’m not a supporter on Patreon, I’m gonna ask here and hope it’s okay. But how do you implement the patch? does it go into a certain folder or is there something more to do?
You’d be surprised by how many patrons and non-patrons come to Discord for help. We actually have no problem with that as long as they don’t mention non-Patreon sites (ex: pirate sites) where they’ve downloaded the game from.
But in answer to your question, the mapping file needs to be in the same folder as the game’s executable.
Ah I didn’t know that about the discord. I will go there next time if I have an issue and thank you for the info.

Most don’t come to Discord for the reason you mentioned, but we honestly have no issues with that. We’ll help anyone – patrons and non-patrons alike – if we can. I’ve been known to help others for hours if it’s not too busy. lol But in all honestly, anyone is welcome there.
There is one known bug in this update (v0.2.1.5) and it has to deal with Amanda not showing up to train your staff. That has already been fixed just moments ago. However, until a hotfix is released, there is no available workaround for it. We would need your save in order to fix the bug for the time being.
None of us noticed the issue during our testing, but there have been multiple reports on it so far.
There is a known bug in this update (v0.2.2.9) pertaining to the guest level selection for the lobby. If you’re already at level 3, the only guests you can take in are level 1 guests (levels 2 and 3 are currently locked). That’s been fixed. You may also notice a white block over the guest level as well. That has also been fixed.
