Hey guys, the final version of Man of the House is finished!
Like I said before, this doesn’t mean there won’t be any future updates, but for now I will start focusing on the development of my new game.
This update adds the last remaining ending, plus a very special bonus ending.

There’s a game breaking bug that was accidentally discovered in version 0.9.8. If you’re playing in the Italian language, when you try to load a save the “Continue” button will be locked. This is due to an incorrect code in the Italian translation, not the save itself.
Right now, the temporary workaround would be to load your save in any text editor and search for “Italian” (there’s only 1 instance of the word in your save) and replace it with “English”, your save will then load normally. A fix for that will be available in the next update.

Two new bugs that have been reported (one of which has already been fixed, the other is being looked into).
The first bug involves Claire’s hints missing and not being able to buy the massage oil from the sex shop. For now, the workaround is going into the Flags Console, selecting Claire, scroll down the list and look for “massage_oil_available”. Change that from 0 to 1, save your game and reload your save. Claire’s hints will reappear after you’ve given her a massage (once you buy the oil) in her room.
The second bug also includes Claire’s hints missing, but I have not found where, why or how this occurs yet. Though it is related to the 3rd fake email you need to send to Dr. Matthews. Again, go into the Flags Console, select Claire and change the “fake_email_level” flag from 5 to 6. Save your game and reload your save. If Claire isn’t showing hints yet, go to MC’s room and send the final fake email and her hints will show up.

I downloaded it, extracted it got (Inc Patch, man of the house data,Mono, savegames, Saves, walkthrough. Folders and Man of the house application, mapping XML file,Unity player.dll)
But when I am running application it shows – select setup language to use during installation after that select start menu folder after clicking next nothing happens….. please help me
It’s possible you may be missing files during the extraction process which is preventing the game from loading.
Try using 7-Zip instead.
After 7-Zip is installed:
Right click on the RAR.
Select “7-Zip”.
Select “Open archive”.
Once the window pops up showing the Man of the House folder, left click once to highlight it in blue. Then click the “Extract”button.
When the “Copy To:” box appears, change the path to C:\ and click “OK”.
Now you should be able to play the game.
How to solve happily ever after achievement
You’ll need to go to bed and “think about your future”.
how come the incest patch isn’t here?
If you already have the patched mapping file, just move it over to the new version. There haven’t been any new characters added so your mapping file will still work.

with the angel, how do I improve my relationship with Claire? and how do I unlock the museum?
You have to send her a message at 11am on Saturday asking her out on a date.
For Angel, you’ll have to follow Claire’s hints. If it’s telling you to do yoga with Claire in the mornings, keep doing that until her hint changes to her forgetting her briefcase. If you don’t have her office on the map yet, the briefcase hint will unlock it after you use the Google app on the phone to search for her office.. But you have to get that hint first before you can do that.
Man of the house 1.1.0 how to get happy ever after for the guy? i have everyone else 100 percent and happy ever after but him
You need to have the following characters at 100% in their achievements:
Officer Debby, Amy, Sophia, Ashley, Claire and Veronica.
Once you have that, go to bed and think about your future.
There is also an item that you will need from the drug store in the shopping mall for one of Ashley’s endings.
all are at 100% and i have that item when do you use that cause when you think about future last vision of ashley wont need it then
You don’t actually use the test kit, but you need it to unlock the 3rd ending (“It looks like Ashley isn’t at home”) for Ashley when you think about your future.

to solve. My game clock has frozen and I don’t know how to fix it.
This is a new one to me. Is the clock the only thing freezing? It sounds like you might be low on system resources (RAM/CPU/GPU sans RAM).
I don’t know what happened, I played a few hours normal and simply the clock froze, I can only skip the manual time.
Well, first thing I would recommend is checking the drivers for your video card to see if they’re up-to-date.
If that’s not the issue, try going into Settings (cogs icon) on the phone and see if “limit frame rate (30fps)” is selected. If it is, deselect that and see if that helps.
Driver is up to date. the frame rate is unchecked, my game is at version 1.0.1 and still with the clock stopped.
apparently i have not completed all the achievements of the guy to become man of the house. everyone is at 100% except for the guy

If it’s the general achievement, that’s where you have to go to the movie theater and answer all 10 questions correctly to get the “Movie Buff” achievement and the cosplay collectable.
that was it i forgot about that one. i did it once and didnt get all right answers the first time. so i moved on with the rest of the game. i have him at Man of the House now. i have really enjoyed playing this game.
Then you’ll like the upcoming changes to the game (UI wise anyway). After some resolution testing I did the other day for next Friday’s release, MotH will now support just about any resolution starting at 1280×720 or better (1920×1080 is still the preferred resolution since the renders are done in that setting) for full screen mode or if you prefer using Windowed mode, it will support 720×400. It’ll look weird, but it will work.
Your saves will still work, so no worries there.
I’ve seen a lot of people who do not have a video card that supports the recommended setting, and so I think Faerin took that into account and that’s why the change was done so that everybody can enjoy playing MotH. 🙂
