About:

Game “Behind the Dune” is parody of the epic science fiction novel and movie called “Dune” written and directed by David Luch. Set in the distant future amidst a feudal interstellar society in which noble houses, in control of individual planets, owe allegiance to the Padishah Emperor, Dune tells the story of young Paul Atreides, whose noble family accepts the stewardship of the desert planet Arrakis. As this planet is the only source of the “spice” melange, the most important and valuable substance in the universe, control of Arrakis is a coveted – and dangerous – undertaking. The story explores the multi-layered interactions of politics, religion, ecology, technology, and human emotion, as the forces of the empire confront each other in a struggle for the control of Arrakis and its “spice”.

    1. Hi, I know this is a old post but others might need to know how to play .swf files offline on Windows.

      I go to: https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html
And download the: Download the Flash Player projector

The projector lets you play (drag .swf file to for example flashplayer_27_sa.exe) and you will be able to play without a browser.

Do this before trying to play the game: Right click, properties, uncheck the unblock check mark of both the .swf and for example flashplayer_27_sa.exe – Then go ahead and play! 🙂

    1. I don’t know man something is wrong from you.. normally that should extract a flash file.

  1. Hey when is the new game getting posted i think he is already publishing early versions

  2. The production quality is good, but I have issues with it:

First of all, as it’s Flash, there does not appear to be any way to save (that I could see or know of) so every time you exit you have to start all over. There’s no way to pause either. Some mentioned it’s short, which is connected with my other issue: the time mechanic.

Instead of your actions advancing time, the day/night clock in the bottom left corner IS RELENTLESSLY TICKING AWAY NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. If you take a few moments to talk and read answers, you could quickly find that the game is now on day four, and you still haven’t actually got jack squat done. 24 hours, as far as I could see, is about two minutes.
